The young team represented Switzerland in both editions of the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup, in 2013 in San Francisco where they finished 4th and 2017 in Bermuda, finishing on the podium in 3rd place. In 2018, Team Tilt went on to win the GC32 World Championship. In 2019 it was runner-up and in 2021, the team placed 3rd at the worlds. Later that year, the team was also voted best Swiss sailing team 2019.
Team Tilt Skipper, Sébastien Schneiter, has competed at the past three Olympic Games, Paris 2024, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, in the high-performance 49er class. Many other past Team Tilt sailors have gone on to enjoy success in the sport; from representing Switzerland at the Olympics to being selected for the America’s Cup. Team Tilt is currently racing in SailGP’s exciting global sailing league.
