Biography

Tanguy Cariou is one of the most experienced sailors in the region. He started his career on Optimists and 420s, before competing at world level on the 470 and racing the Olympic Games in Sydney. After that he joined Alinghi, and today he races with Franck Cammas on Groupama in the Extreme Sailing Series and the Tour de France a la Voile. He brings significant experience to Team Tilt as sports director and sails as tactician on the Decision 35. In 2015, he won the D35 Trophy and the Bol d’Or onboard the Decision 35 Team Tilt. Tanguy is now the CEO of the Switzerland SailGP Team.
