Team Tilt was proudly represented in the Swiss Flying Phantom Series this season on Lake Geneva. Alex Schneiter and Kris Johnsson finished second in the Flying Phantom championship, behind the Bachelin brothers. A great result for the team who is delighted with this dynamic class!
“Beyond the result, it’s great to see Team Eleven providing Flying Phantoms for the young sailors, it’s a great initiative,” says Alex Schneiter. “This has boosted the series, with many young talents in the circuit who have raised the overall level. Team Eleven has taken over with youth and that’s great! We’re going to do everything we can to attract more young people to this great championship. We tested the ultimate version of the FP at the Bol d’Or Mirabaud, it is extraordinary! It’s the turbo version. These are very physical boats, which require a lot of “handling”, it gives a lot of trouble to the less young like us! You can find everything you need on a GC32 or TF35, but in a smaller size. That’s great.t. And for me personally, it’s great to be able to sail, to foil, and be around these young sailings that I know through Swiss Sailing Team and Team Tilt!”
