The first edition of the GC32 Worlds starts tomorrow, with 13 boats lined up in Riva del Garda (ITA)!
The practice races were held this afternoon, with good results from Team Tilt. Very positive one day ahead of the event, although the team will be able to see its level only tomorrow, with the first races at 1pm !
This morning, Team Tilt welcomed Omega guests onboard the GC32, for a perfect foiling session. The team is now fully ready to start the world championship !
Glenn Ashby : “There is something about a World Championship which makes it different to other regattas. Aside from the Olympics, the Worlds are the pinnacle of any class and to have the GC32s all sailing around together it will be pretty busy. I am super excited about it and it will be great to see the class grow.
Nils Theuninck : « It was a good training session this afternoon, we’re looking forward to start tomorrow. I think we have to look carefully out for the Extreme Sailing Series Teams, such as Alinghi, SAP or Oman Air…! »
