Sébastien and Lucien are doing a great job at Sailing World Cup in Miami (USA), this week. After nine races, the 49er team is standing in 6th overall. They’ve had an excellent 3rd day, on Thursday January 25, finishing 3 races in the TOP 10.
“It was tough, the main goal was not to capsize during a race”, explains Sebastien. “We did capsize three times going to the race course, the conditions were tough”, adds Lucien.
Wind forecast is strong, again, for today. Against some of the world’s best 49er sailors, in a big 38 boat fleet, the team will focus on one goal : stay in the TOP 10 to qualify for the Medal Race.
Two other teams represent Team Tilt at this event : Nils Theuninck (Finn) and Maud Jayet (Laser Radial).
