Team Tilt’s last regatta before the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup starts tomorrow : the GC32 Riva Cup takes place in Riva del Garda (ITA) from 11 to 14 of May. A good opportunity for Sébastien Schneiter and his team to train one last time before the big event in June.
The team has been training hard since the beginning of the year. After a big session in Oman, the boys have been sailing on Lake Garda since 10 days, enjoying the lake’s usual very good sailing conditions. Today, Wednesday, was the team’s last training day. It was as windy as festive with Omega’s guest on site, watching them training !
« We trained a lot and during the past months », says Florian Trüb. « We’ll give our best to finish on the podium here in Riva. We’re full on for this last month, we’re getting closer to the RBYAC ! We’re 100% into the game, it’s a big pleasure to be here. Full steam ahead ! »
The rules of the GC32 Racing Tour changed a bit this year, with a maximum of 5 races sailed per day. The teams will take onboard guests between the races, not during, as last year.
Team Tilt’s crew will change during the event, to make sure the team uses the most of this last training session before the RBYAC !
